Your Guide To All In One PCs

All in one PCs

An all in one PC is simply a desktop PC where the hard drive and other principal components are located in the computer monitor. This means that the all in one desktop PC does away with the ugly PC Base Unit under the desk leaving only the mouse and keyboard. All in one PCs are sleek and take up relatively little room. Indeed, because they don't require cabling and the like they can be placed on many different flat surfaces and even wall mounting your all in one PC becomes a practical option.

What makes the All in one PC important is that All In One PCs are representative of the extent to which home computer systems are now looking to supply your processing needs in a way that suits you. All in One PCs are versatile and come at prices to suit every budget.

All in One PCs are relatively new. Until recently, when choosing a computing option, you would typically have had to choose between a desktop PC and a laptop. This choice tended to involve a trade off of some kind: the desktop had a bigger memory, bigger monitor and was faster, but came together with a load of separate components, with innumerable cables all connecting them, and the whole thing basically took up an awful lot of space (and in a lot of cases wasn't very attractive to look at).

The things offered to you by a laptop, such as a compact size and design, not to mention the increasingly important visual attractiveness, are now available within systems that approach the capabilities you would have previously looked for in a desktop system.

The beauty of the All In One PC is that it is a desktop PC without the main unit box. The newer models can even be mistaken for flat screen TVs. Now the clever thing about All in One Computers is that the entire system is basically contained within the same physical casing as the monitor. This means that you also eliminate the need for the various cables that link the monitor to the main unit. This design improvement looks better is more practical and is especially valuable where there just isn't the space to locate a PC base unit under the desk. So, this construction has also allowed these newer systems to incorporate a far greater range of stylish visual designs.

Given that your computer is no longer just for work and browsing the Web, but is also an entertainment centre, people are looking for their system to complement the interior of their homes more effectively, and All In One PCs, with space saving design and sleek new looks, seem to be paving the way.
